Robert Lewandowski undoubtedly one of the most feared strikers to have graced the game of football has recently commented on his future at Camp Nou, especially with transfer alarms sounding in all the corners of the football fraternity.
After a successful spell at Bayern Munich, he would be snapped up by the Spanish giants even though the Germans still wanted his services but the Pole was one not to return to the old ways as he wanted a new challenge, with a goal tally of 344 gaols he stands as the second all-time scorer.
The 35-year-old joined Barca from Bayern Munich in 2022 and in his first season, the striker led the Spanish giants to a La Liga title. Despite the Polish international’s side having a trophyless campaign this time out, he has no plans on leaving the Catalan outfit – despite big-money links to the Saudi Pro League
He told Mundo Deportivo: “Of course, for me it is super clear. I want to win many titles with Barcelona and I am sure that next season we will be even stronger and we will also win titles. I always want the best, not just for me, but for my teammates and I am sure that this team will win titles next season because I see what we do each day. For me that is what matters because this a club that I hold close to my heart and I want to give a lot for the team and the club.”
Robert Lewandowski will still be an elite striker for years to come especially when he is not interested anytime soon in wanting to depart European football for a more relaxed path at the Major League Soccer or Saudi.
