Talented American singer and songwriter , Billie Pirate Baird O’Connell best known in the music entertainment industry as Billie Eilish has opened up on how frustrating fame can be.
Billie Eilish , is known to be one of America’s most outspoken and energetic young artists. She was considered as one of the most decorated youngest artists in the industry before she even turned 20. This early fame in life has however had it effects on the now 22 year multiply time Grammy winner.
Eilish first became a catch for the music eye with the release of her first single” Oceans Eyes” when she was just 14 years old.
Since then she has been doing tremendously well in the entertainment industry , breaking billboard chart and winning awards for herself.
This fame is however not entirely loved by the young artist , as she feels whatever she does is in the eyes of the public and that she does not get the chance to be a child , make mistakes and grow up. “It’s so weird to grow up and change in front of the world” she said , expressing how each step she takes in life is carefully watched.
She also expresses how it can sometimes be frustrating as an artist. As the public sometimes do not confirm whatever they heard about you , rather jump into conclusion , thinking about the worst of you.
Also , expresses how she barely gets the opportunity to explain herself and make certain corrections. “The thing that’s been frustrating and gives me a bit of anxiety is the feeling of needing to explain myself all the time”.
