Ghanaian cooking expert Ebenezer Smith, professionally referred to as Chef Smith, currently boasts the prestigious title of holding the Guinness World Record for the longest individual cooking marathon. He achieved this remarkable feat by dedicating a total of 802 hours and 25 minutes to his goal.
Chef Smith is now in the midst of preparations for a press conference at the esteemed La Palm Beach Hotel, where he will formally declare this remarkable achievement. As anticipation builds, a banner displayed at the entrance of the conference room offers attendees a glimpse into the exciting events that will unfold in the upcoming hours.
The banner reads: “Press Conference. Unveiling the New World Cook-a-thon Record Holder. Millennium Chef Smith from Ghana with an incredible 802 hours, 25 minutes to dethrone Irish King, Alan Fisher.”
Chef Smith commenced his cook-a-thon February 1 with the goal of exceeding the existing record. Despite his initial target of 1200 hours, he managed to cook for 820 hours, concluding his marathon on March 6.
