Defiant Ten Hag promises a trophy and sees a bright future in youngsters

Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hag cannot say the club is in order amid a string  of 14 defeats under his watch and the first in the Red Devils campaign in the EPL.

After the game against New Castle United which they narrowly won 3 goals to 2 the Dutch remained hopeful of the future and urged the supporters who had been present with them through out their ordeal that a trophy will soon be on their table.

Reflecting on the season, he went on to add: “They told me every manager is doing this, that is why! I think it’s very important. It was our last game here, we finish the season with still two games to go but away from Old Trafford. We want to thank them for sticking with us. We really appreciate the team appreciate it and the club appreciate it. We are in difficult times, this club is in transition and the results are not what they can expect. But there are reasons for it, all the injuries, but we’ve still had as disappointing season as we had.

“But, in the disappointment, there’s progress from some good players – Rasmus Hojlund, Amad DIallo, Alejandro Garnacho. I’m always happy when young players are progressing very good across the season. I’ve said before that some good things are happening. Some very good things. There is high potential in the club. This season is not over yet. We will travel to Brighton where we go for three points, and then we go to Wembley. And I promise you that the players will give everything to bring a cup to Old Trafford.”

A win against Manchester City in the FA cup final will surely send them to Europe and reports claim the board is waiting on that to decide the future of the coach.
