Actress Yvonne Nelson has revealed that the publication of her book “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson” was a profoundly therapeutic experience. She expressed that it took years to come up with such a literary masterpiece, underscoring the remarkable journey it has been.
The actress emphasized that everyone faces trials in life and harbors undisclosed struggles, hence, having the opportunity to publicly share her personal narrative felt akin to a therapeutic session. This declaration was made during her address at the commencement ceremony of The Yvonne Nelson International School.
“It’s been a wonderful ride. It was something that I was working on for the longest time. That is what people don’t know, and they thought I woke up one day and used a week to write a book.
“We all have difficulties in our lives and things that we don’t talk to anybody about, and it’s been a big therapy for me to release the book. There is so much more I will want to share, but let’s see what happens,” she said in an interview on Thursday, July 31.
