Student of KNUST attempts a Guinness World Record of longest gaming marathon.

A third-year student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Vanessa Azoumaro, has successfully accomplished her Guinness World Record attempt for the lengthiest video game marathon engaging with the Ghost of Tsushima series.

Initially aiming for 48 hours, Vanessa surpassed her target, culminating in an impressive duration of 56 hours, 30 minutes, and 43 seconds. The conclusion of her record pursuit was officially marked at precisely 5:30 am on Monday, July 29, 2024.

Her endeavor took place at the Airport View in Kumasi SG Mall where companions and well-wishers gathered to offer moral support. The third-year Social Work student from KNUST was also surrounded by a dedicated surveillance team to ensure the integrity of her endeavor.

She is yet to furnish evidence to the Guinness World Record team for verification and confirmation.
