The sensational singer from The Tortured Poets Department , Taylor Alison Swift has released an acoustic version of the Fortnight , which features Post Malone.
Taylor , earlier on Tuesday the 9th of July released a Hushed Version for her No.1 billboard album , The Tortured Poets Department first song “Fortnight”. She does this with the help of singer and songwriter Post Malone.
The tracks update starts with electronic sounds from mellow guitar stings and has the two iconic singers trading vocals in soft tunes beautifully arranged to compliment each other.
“Fortnight” acoustic version also comes with an upbeat remix from New York indie pop duo cult , who adds to the production with bright and magnificent instrumentation.
In an Instagram post , the band reposted the cover image of the single which had Taylor Swift modeling Post Malone’s signature face tattoos.
As this is a sign of her appreciation to the artist for helping her produce such beautiful art piece.
She writes on her Instagram page ,” Post Malone blew me away on set as out tortured tragic hero and I’m so grateful to him for everything he put into this collaboration “.
Also , the post came with the caption , Honored to have been given the opportunity to remix the legend Taylor Swift song “Fortnight”.
“Fortnight” was released on April 19 , as the first single on The Tortured Poets Department album.
The album after its release has been making waves on Billboard Charts and has remained as No.1 on Billboard Charts for eleven consecutive weeks.
This makes Taylor Swift the first woman to spend eleven weeks on the Billboard in a row.
Which makes her tallying with Whitney Houston , who also spent eleven weeks on the Billboard Chart with her music “The Bodyguard”
