Composure , heroic aura and chills is the definition of “James Bond” the fictional character loved by many but for the very first time , the Olympics has witnessed its own version of “James Bond” in Yusuf Dikeç.

Yusuf Dikeç , a Turkish sport shooter who is competing in the pistol challenge has made waves on the Internet with his over-composed demeanor during his challenge.

Yusuf is a non-commissioned officer of the Turkish Gendarmerie and a member of the Jandarma Gücü sports club. He has been competing in other pistol tournaments and made a mark over there. He has also been competing in the summer Olympics Games ever since 2008 .

However , during this year’s Olympics “Yusuf Dikeç” has brought the spotlight on himself and his home country by stylishly shooting his way to the second position for the 10 meter air pistol shooting.

Most shooters prefer to wear a visor or a blinder to help with their gauge and shoot well at the target. The protective gears are to help the competitors and protect them for the harm of the shooting.

However , Yusuf Dikeç is one iconic individual who decided to wear a simple earplug and ordinary reading glasses to compete in the challenge. This singular act of his , made him gain the attention and the most bazaar part is he won a silver for his country with the least gearing up.

This made fans call him the “James Bond Of Olympics” or the ” Hitman Of Olympics” , either way it can be said that he came and made a statement at the Olympics at the age of 51.
